Analog Devices (ADI) is seeking a highly experienced Precision Modeler to join our team and contribute to the development of advanced modeling capabilities for ADI’s Precision Studio tool. In this role, you will be responsible for creating accurate models of ADI’s newest precision components, as well as simulation models that define and expand the technical capabilities of the Precision Studio ecosystem. Working closely with engineering, design, systems, and product teams, you will ensure that models reflect the real‑world behavior of our precision hardware and empower customers to design with confidence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in precision analog design, modeling, simulation, or a related engineering field.
  • Deep knowledge of analog circuit behavior, device physics, and precision signal‑chain design.
  • Demonstrated experience developing or using component‑level simulation models (e.g., SPICE, behavioral modeling).
  • Strong cross‑team collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively with hardware, software, applications, and system‑level teams.
  • Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex design or modeling problems.
  • Familiarity with modeling tools, simulation environments, and EDA workflows.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in modeling for customer‑facing tools or simulation frameworks.
  • Experience with precision ADCs, DACs, amplifiers, and sensor‑interface circuitry.
  • Experience with system‑level modeling, behavioral abstraction, or mixed‑signal design methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop part models for ADI’s Precision Studio tool, including newly released precision products across operational amplifiers, instrumentation amplifiers, converters, references, sensors, and related analog technologies.
  • Create and optimize simulation models that define the performance, usability, and feature set of the Precision Studio platform.
  • Interpret device specifications and hardware behavior to implement accurate electrical models aligned with silicon performance.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with product design, applications engineering, modeling teams, and software development to validate and refine model behavior.
  • Identify and solve complex design, modeling, or simulation challenges , ensuring that model fidelity supports both internal engineering and external customer use cases.
  • Participate in design reviews , model validation workflows, and tool capability roadmap discussions.
  • Maintain and document modeling methodologies , ensuring consistency, scalability, and quality across Precision Studio model libraries.
