SAIC is seeking an exceptional Principal Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) Engineer to join our team supporting one of the Department of Defense's most critical and complex acquisition efforts - the Sentinel Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Program. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the modernization of the Air Force's ICBM weapon system, ensuring its operational readiness and sustainability into the latter half of the 21st century The Sentinel ICBM Program, formerly known as the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD), is a massive, multi-faceted initiative aimed at replacing the aging LGM-30G Minuteman III weapon system. This career-defining program includes designing and integrating advanced ballistic missile systems, refurbishing or replacing key infrastructure, and fielding state-of-the-art command, control, and support systems. As a Principal MS&A Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and evaluation of the next-generation Sentinel ICBM system, driving innovation and delivering mission-focused solutions. Your role as a Principal MS&A Engineer will include: Developing, reviewing, and testing advanced rocket and missile dynamics models to support Sentinel ICBM flight performance evaluations. Applying extensive engineering knowledge to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and effectiveness of complex MS&A tools for missile systems. Performing system-level technical analyses to identify and resolve issues associated with rocket propulsion, missile dynamics, and guidance systems. Supporting technical and programmatic reviews by developing reports, documentation, and presentations for senior stakeholders. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to execute engineering processes and deliver critical solutions to the Sentinel System Program Office.
