A Day in the Life This position serves as a key member of the Global Operations and Supply Chain (GOSC) FP&A team, supporting the lead for the Mfg Support cost pool within the Global Manufacturing Network. The role partners most closely with our global manufacturing finance organization to centralize and standardize our reporting, forecasting and analysis processes. This role is critical to deliver on the financial commitments, and continuously drive improvements, standardization, and efficiencies within our FP&A processes. The successful candidate will partner with GOSC finance and cross-functional leadership to enhance the processes and tools which report, analyze, forecast and animate our GOSC financial performance. A Day in the Life Business partnering: Develop working relationships and regular connection points with business partners across assigned manufacturing sites. Cost Center Support: Plan headcount and other natural expenses for manufacturing support cost centers at assigned manufacturing sites. Maintain cost center structure, work with business partners to provide support in making trade-off decisions to achieve targets, monitor financial results, and ensure appropriate accounting at period end. Management reporting: Support the preparation and presentation of Enterprise Operations analysis, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), financial performance commentary, and forecasting to various levels of management. Process Improvement: Play a role in process improvement initiatives as determined by the team and business partners. Ad hoc analysis and projects: Support evolving initiatives in alignment with Enterprise Operations priorities and to provide enhanced understanding of financial performance, research anomalies and build processes. Prepare and present spending analyses, KPIs, manufacturing variance commentary, and forecasts to various levels of management Partner proactively with stakeholders to analyze trends and investigate anomalies in results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7+ years relevant experience (5+ years with an Advanced degree)
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
