A Day in the Life We are seeking a Principal Financial Analyst to join our Enterprise Operations Finance team. This role is designed to lead strategic financial initiatives, including business case development, forecasting, and analytical processes. The position plays a critical role in delivering on financial commitments while driving continuous improvement, standardization, and efficiency across a strategic portfolio. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

  • MBA or Advanced Degree
  • Operations Finance experience
  • Cost Accounting experience
  • Experience with Medtronic financial systems
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support strategic financial projects, including business case development and investment analysis
  • Critical thinking and analysis required to challenge cost and savings assumptions
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and decision support
  • Develop and maintain financial models, trends, and study subjects such as rates of return, working capital, cash flow, investments, etc.
  • Drive, implement, and support continuous improvements in reporting processes to focus on value creation activities.
  • Support annual strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Prepare presentations of financial results for Monthly Financial Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and Program reviews.
