The Naval Standard Missile Systems (NSMS) family of programs - SM-2, SM-6, and Standard - has an immediate need for Principal Financial Analysts to join our Program Cost Controls team. These products are a part of the Naval Shipboard Portfolio and are at the front-line of national security. These roles will provide support to a wide range of Development, Production, and Capacity growth initiatives with insights into program controls execution and financial planning & analysis. As a core member of this team, you will work in a challenging and fast paced team environment on a program team. This analyst will have frequent interaction and collaboration with various functions (finance, engineering, operations, contract, and program office).

Requirements

  • Typically requires: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Ability to perform ad-hoc analysis, data integrity checks, and/or reconciliations.
  • Experience with Microsoft tool suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), including advanced Excel skills.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  • Detailed understanding of key financial metrics.
  • Understanding of Raytheon financial and accounting policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate aspects of quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) processes in a classified environment.
  • Develop and analyze trends in spend rates, EVMS metrics, and headcount planning to provide actionable insights.
  • Oversee and support the cash collection process by forecasting billings and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely cash receipts.
  • Support the implementation, compliance, and maintenance of contractual and internal EVMS requirements.
  • Prepare detailed weekly and monthly program reports, including executive summaries, to support decision-making at multiple levels of the organization.
