Principal Engineer, NAND Pathfinding

In this role, you’ll help shape the next generation of NAND by combining deep technical expertise with hands‑on design, prototyping, and experimentation. This is an opportunity to grow beyond a single subject area, work at the intersection of device, design, and system, and turn bold ideas into real innovations.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5–10 years of experience in NAND technology or NAND design
- Strong understanding of non‑volatile memory systems, NAND device physics, and layout/design principles
- Demonstrated problem‑solving ability and motivation to learn across domains
- Experience contributing to both conceptual and hands‑on technology development
Nice To Haves
- Proven record of innovation shown through patents, publications, or conference work
- Experience working with cross‑functional and external experts
- Strong documentation and presentation skills
- Leadership experience guiding complex technical efforts
- Ability to empower and collaborate with peers across diverse abilities
Responsibilities
- Develop and prototype new concepts addressing sophisticated, cross‑disciplinary challenges
- Collaborate with experts across silicon, design, architecture, and systems
- Lead experimental work, including characterization, simulation, and validation
- Drive projects from early conceptualisation through implementation
- Mentor technical contributors and help raise team capability
