In your new role you will: Design, analyze, and optimize magnetics, thermal, and EMI aspects of power systems to ensure high performance and compliance with standards of our Intermediate Bus Converters Engage in analog and digital circuit design, including loop compensation and current sharing techniques by performing comprehensive circuit simulations and PDN analysis to enhance power delivery networks Develop and optimize data center power systems, addressing fast transient loads and bi-directional power needs Work with I2C/PMBus and other processor protocols, ensuring seamless integration and communication Utilize software tools such as Matlab, Simulink, C++, Python, MathCad, and Mathematica for advanced design, analysis and conduct all necessary power system measurement Create and review schematics, applying advanced PCB layout techniques and ensuring product safety compliance Develop and implement manufacturing test metrics and ensure manufacturability from the beginning You communicate effectively, manage projects efficiently and produce high-quality technical documentation. You enjoy engaging with customers and providing technical support.

Requirements

  • University / University of Applied Sciences: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Informatics or Physics
  • Extensive industry experience in power solutions, specifically in power modules with deep understanding of data center power systems and all relevant power topologies
  • Proficiency in magnetics design, EMI, thermal design and power electronics
  • Extensive experience with analog and digital circuit design, loop compensation and current sharing
  • Expert knowledge in circuit simulation and PDN analysis
  • Skills in dealing with fast transient loads and bi-directional power systems
  • Proficiency in I2C/PMBus and processor protocols
  • Advanced skills in Matlab, Simulink, C++, Python, MathCad, Mathematica and experience with schematic capture tools such as Altium and/or Allegro with strong capabilities in PCB layout and product safety standards
  • Proficiency in FEA, FEMM, Sonnet, and CST software tools
