About The Position

This role involves researching, collecting, processing, and organizing data into various data repositories. This includes maintaining and updating interfaces, creating data rules and data mapping, and resolving data discrepancies across multiple business applications. The position also requires responding to business requests to analyze data to generate actionable insights. As an expert in the field, the individual will apply broad business knowledge and strategic insight surrounding emerging trends and technologies to solve complex problems and drive organizational results. The role leads critical, high-impact projects and designs/implements innovative business strategies, working with minimal oversight, frequently consulting senior leadership and influencing executive decisions. The Principal Data Analysis serves as a mentor and assists others with challenging issues, managing the most complex data storage from multiple sources and very complex level analytics to solve very complex business problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science, Math, etc.
• 7+ years of related experience.
• Certification is required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Gather, preprocess, and cleanse data from various sources to ensure it is accurate and ready for analysis.
• Analyze data using statistical methods to identify trends and insights, creating reports and recommendations for business decisions.
• Create clear, factual/precise, and compelling data visualizations and reports to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Identify, resolve, and ensure the accuracy of data discrepancies across platforms, maintaining data reliability through quality control and auditing.
