About The Position

The Principal Business Systems Analyst will lead the planning, design, development, and implementation of efficient business, financial, and operational systems to support core organizational functions and business processes. This role will serve as the primary liaison between Finance, IT, and business stakeholders for the ongoing management and optimization of the OneStream platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with OneStream (implementation, configuration, or administration).
  • Strong understanding of financial consolidation, planning, and reporting processes.
  • Proven ability to gather and translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Experience supporting or leading ERP/financial system implementations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Hyperion).
  • Advanced analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across Finance, IT, and Operations teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, design, development, and implementation of business and financial systems solutions using OneStream.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for OneStream system maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements to support process improvements and system functionality.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications in collaboration with IT and finance teams.
  • Support the development and execution of testing plans, user acceptance, and system documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics within OneStream to support business and financial decision-making.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on business processes and system capabilities, ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process automation opportunities.
  • Train and support end users to maximize adoption and effective use of OneStream and related systems
