The Impact You Will Have in This Role Master Connectivity Data (MCD) is DTCC’s centralized platform designed to harmonize connectivity data, accelerate client onboarding, enable real-time monitoring, and streamline cyber incident management—reducing risk across the global financial industry. We are seeking a Business Analyst – Associate Director who will serve as a strategic link between business stakeholders and technology teams. In this role, you will translate complex business needs into actionable solutions, drive backlog readiness, and lead workflow and user experience design. You’ll collaborate closely with Product Owners and Agile squads to refine requirements, ensure alignment with enterprise objectives, and occasionally act as a proxy Product Owner. Requirements

  • Minimum of 8–10 years of relevant experience, including leadership roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven expertise in business analysis and technology leadership within financial services, with the ability to gather, analyze, and translate complex business requirements into actionable deliverables within an Agile framework.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and modernization strategies to drive transformation and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in data integration, connectivity, and cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and risk management standards.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive strategic outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise data integration, reporting tools, and requirements management platforms (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • Proficiency in identifying and validating non-functional requirements for highly critical applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovation and delivering under tight deadlines while maintaining quality and compliance.
  • Deep knowledge of connectivity data, governance standards, and compliance frameworks, combined with a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Business Requirements Gathering: Capture, analyze, and document business needs to ensure clarity and alignment with MCD objectives.
  • Drive Backlog Readiness & Prioritization: Collaborate with Product Owners and squads to refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintain a well-groomed backlog for timely delivery.
  • Facilitate Agile Ceremonies & Communication: Actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives while ensuring transparent communication across business and technology teams.
  • Develop Process Flows & Operating Models: Create detailed workflows, playbooks, and escalation paths to streamline onboarding, connectivity, and cyber recovery processes.
  • Ensure Seamless Integration: Align MCD capabilities with entitlement systems, incident response tools, and operational workflows.
  • Support Governance & Compliance: Incorporate industry standards and cybersecurity frameworks into requirements to meet audit and regulatory obligations.
  • Act as Proxy Product Owner: Represent product vision and priorities in discussions with development teams to accelerate delivery and meet deadlines.
