The Principal Budget Analyst performs a variety of high level and complex administrative and professional duties related to the development and analysis of budget requests. Produces forecasts and projections; prepare illustrations of economic and statistical data for various budget documents; analyzes economic trends; and performs special assignments pertaining to proposed legislation. Assists the Budget Officer in managing the annual operating budget and lifetime budgets; developing, reviewing, and approving associated budgets; and monitoring budget performance for all programs and departments in the City.
