The Operations team within Community Finance centralizes key activities, reducing fragmented "side-of-desk" work for associates, and enabling CF to scale via increased efficiency, streamlined processes, better governance, and increased data insight for decision-making. The team’s scope includes Business Operations & Analytics (e.g., syndicator operations, disposition activities, and reporting), as well as Process & Risk Governance (e.g., change initiatives, risk and compliance, and policy governance). The Principal Associate, Business Operations & Analytics will provide essential financial analysis and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet various review and reporting requirements. This role is critical to the centralized monitoring and reporting of current and projected business performance. The successful candidate will be a collaborative partner capable of performing complex functions with limited supervision and under tight time constraints. In this role, core responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Financial Performance Monitoring and Analysis Oversee quarterly investment benefit schedule update process, including life cycle management in coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Execute pricing for new and existing deals, and prepare comprehensive profitability analyses. Assist with annual or ad-hoc model and template updates, including pressure testing and quality assurance (QA). Analytic Support Across Community Finance Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to assess the impact of various business drivers (such as adjusters, or portfolio purchases and dispositions) on portfolio performance, P&L, and risk. Manage the consolidation and distribution of deal closing information for record-keeping. Support various process improvement projects to increase performance efficiency and centralize business analytics & reporting. Collaboration with Finance & Accounting Serve as the primary liaison to Finance and Accounting, addressing financial inquiries and audit support. Collaborate with Finance to analyze key financial metrics and provide regular updates on business projections and forecasts. Business Operations Management Support syndicator relationship management and upper-tier fund management, including capital calls and benefit schedule coordination. Contribute to due diligence efforts to identify and evaluate recommendations for disposition and secondary market opportunities.
