As a strategic talent advisor and recruiting expert, you will identify, attract, secure, and onboard exceptional technical leaders and key individual contributors supporting our cutting-edge ASIC development programs. This is not transactional recruiting; it's strategic talent acquisition requiring deep market intelligence in semiconductor technologies, sophisticated technical assessment capabilities, and the ability to influence technical leader level decision-making. As a senior member of Blue Origin's talent acquisition team, you will establish the end-to-end recruitment standards, methodologies, and best practices that define excellence in technical talent acquisition for a pioneering semiconductor technology company. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing market insights and talent strategy while managing high-stakes searches with precision and discretion. The ideal candidate brings extensive full lifecycle recruitment experience specifically in ASIC or semiconductor technology, exceptional judgment in assessing technical talent, and the strategic acumen to position TeraWave as the premier destination for industry-leading professionals who want to shape the future of integrated circuit design and implementation.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in full lifecycle technical recruitment, with a successful track record of placing candidates in highly specialized ASIC and semiconductor roles
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting for ASIC design, semiconductor technology, or related technical fields
  • Deep expertise in technical recruitment methodologies, sophisticated assessment tools, and recruitment technologies
  • Strong understanding of ASIC development processes and the talent market in this specialized field
  • Proven ability to cultivate relationships and build trust with highly specialized technical candidates and senior leaders
  • Experience implementing and optimizing end-to-end recruitment processes, from initial candidate identification through successful onboarding

  • Experience recruiting for complex SoC (System-on-Chip) or custom ASIC development programs
  • Knowledge of the technical skills and competencies required for digital design, analog design, verification, and physical design

  • Strategic Talent Acquisition Create and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to identify, engage, and hire top technical talent specializing in ASIC architecture, design, verification, and related semiconductor technologies Conduct proactive market mapping and benchmarking to stay ahead of talent trends in the ASIC and semiconductor industry Cultivate a pipeline of high-caliber candidates for critical technical roles across multiple ASIC development programs
  • Strategic Leadership Develop and implement comprehensive technical recruiting strategies aligned with TeraWave's ASIC program objectives Serve as mentor to junior recruiters, delivering personalized guidance on recruiting best practices while collaborating on career development plans Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the company's growth objectives and technical hiring needs in the ASIC domain Deliver quarterly talent intelligence briefings that inform leadership decisions on organizational technical talent and emerging market trends impacting semiconductor technology talent availability
  • Search & Selection Conduct in-depth interviews and thorough assessments of technical candidates to evaluate qualifications, leadership capabilities, and cultural fit for ASIC development roles Apply advanced assessment tools and techniques to evaluate specialized technical skills in digital design, analog design, RTL coding, physical design, and related disciplines Present comprehensive candidate reports and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Executive Partnership Serve as a trusted advisor to the ASIC Programs leadership team and hiring managers, providing thought leadership on all aspects of the technical talent recruitment process Develop a deep understanding of the semiconductor business strategy and organizational culture to align talent acquisition efforts with company goals Offer strategic insights on market dynamics, competitor activity, and compensation trends in the ASIC industry
  • Candidate Experience Management Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial sourcing through offer acceptance and onboarding Build and maintain long-term relationships with potential technical candidates, ensuring a positive and engaging recruiting experience Lead strategic interactions including executive meetings, site visits, and technical discussions that authentically showcase TeraWave's mission and culture
  • Process Excellence & Insights Lead initiatives to continuously enhance the technical recruitment process for efficiency and effectiveness Create and maintain metrics and reports to track the success and impact of technical talent recruiting efforts Stay current on semiconductor industry trends, emerging recruitment technologies, and best practices in technical talent acquisition
