To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are bringing together technology from across our product lines to build the future of space-based communication. This role will be onsite in Bay Area, CA or Renton, WA. It is approved for a temporary remote work exception while our local site is developed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in custom ASIC delivery lifecycle, from ideation to design to mass production
  • Proven experience in Hardware and Software partitioning and trades for communication
  • Familiarity with the Electronic Design Automation industry
  • Proven experiences owning delivery of custom silicon programs from concept to volume production

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with phased arrays and RF systems
  • Experience with LEO/MEO satellite systems
  • Experience with mmWave RFIC and low-geometry CMOS
  • Experience with security systems and qualification
  • Ability to create technical solutions to supply chain and production constraints
  • Experience delivering program deliverables under tight constraints

Responsibilities

  • Own the program management (work-backwards execution plans) and reporting of program status to TeraWave leadership
  • Manage and align Blue Origin's priorities with chip technical execution leadership; align resourcing and talent to functional ASIC leaders across all active programs
  • Hold the bar for execution and quality across all programs
  • Collaborate with all functions inside the ASIC organization and key stakeholders in the overall TeraWave program
  • Build low-impact tracking mechanisms
  • Be an advocate for AI and drive AI adoption across the organization
  • Support business needs of the ASIC organization such as vendor contract negotiations, vendor management from design tools to fabs and OSAT
  • Be the link with internal and vendor supply chains
  • Build a team of Engineering Program Managers to support our designs
