About The Position

ASIC Program Manager (AI Hardware) Drive the programs that bring silicon to life At BrainChip, we’re building a new class of AI hardware. Our neuromorphic processors are designed for real-time, ultra-efficient intelligence at the edge. We’re looking for an ASIC Program Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex ASIC development programs. This is not an IT program role. This is deep, execution-focused program leadership in a semiconductor environment. 6-month contract role with an expectation of working onsite 2–3 days per week.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of program management experience in semiconductor or ASIC environments
  • Proven experience leading complex ASIC tapeouts
  • Strong understanding of the full silicon lifecycle from architecture to production
  • Familiarity with tapeout flows, sign-off criteria, and foundry interactions
  • Experience coordinating hardware and software teams across complex programs
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to operate at both technical and executive levels
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-accountability environments

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AI chips or accelerator architectures
  • Familiarity with advanced process nodes and modern foundry workflows
  • Background in ASIC design, verification, or hardware engineering
  • Experience with TSMC or leading semiconductor foundries
  • PMP or similar program management certification

Responsibilities

  • Lead full lifecycle ASIC programs from early architecture through post-silicon validation and production
  • Build and manage detailed schedules, milestones, and resource plans across distributed teams
  • Drive tapeout execution across RTL, verification, DFT, physical design, packaging, and board teams
  • Track readiness and sign-off criteria including timing, power, and design rule checks
  • Manage ECO processes and silicon revision planning
  • Coordinate hardware and software timelines to ensure bring-up readiness
  • Align firmware, drivers, SDKs, and system integration with silicon milestones
  • Lead cross-functional reviews, tapeout readiness checkpoints, and program updates
  • Communicate risks, tradeoffs, and progress clearly to leadership
  • Establish KPIs and improve program management processes as the organization scales
