About The Position

Boston Scientific is seeking a Senior Business Analyst that will serve as a key partner in optimizing and supporting Boston Scientific's talent management technology ecosystem, with a focus on Succession Planning, Performance Management, Goal Management and Skills. This role will be responsible for ensuring our various HR platforms are effectively configured, integrated, and aligned with our enterprise talent strategies. The analyst will work closely with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Operations, and IT to enhance the employee experience and enable data-driven talent decisions through scalable technology solutions. At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years' general corporate experience in a professional environment
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience supporting HR systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and serve as a subject matter expert for talent management technology
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into system configurations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors (Performance & Goals, Succession & Development)
  • Familiarity with configuration and support of talent management platforms such as goal management, succession planning, and talent intelligence hubs
  • Knowledge of skills taxonomy/ontology and skills-based talent initiatives
  • Familiarity with integrations between talent and learning platforms (e.g., Degreed)
  • Experience with reporting and analytics tools (e.g., SAP Story Reports, People Analytics, or similar BI tools)
  • SuccessFactors certification in relevant modules
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Centers of Excellence and building strong stakeholder relationships
  • Experience in position management and understanding its impact on Employee Central

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day configuration, maintenance, documentation and support of SuccessFactors modules related to Performance Management, Succession Planning, and Career Development, and Talent Intelligence.
  • Support SuccessFactors & Degreed learning and skills functionality, ensuring alignment with career and talent frameworks.
  • Partner with HR Technology and IT teams to maintain data integrity, troubleshoot issues, and deliver system enhancements.
  • Support the buildout of Boston Scientific's future of skills framework, integrating skill taxonomies between SuccessFactors and Degreed.
  • Collaborate with Talent Management to build out a strategic roadmap and identify opportunities for automation and simplification of talent processes.
  • Analyze data and trends to provide insights that enable better talent visibility and succession planning.
  • Partner with the Talent Management COE to translate business requirements into system solutions.
  • Contribute to testing cycles, release management, and change documentation for new functionality or enhancements.
  • Support training and communication efforts to drive system adoption and ensure consistent end-user experience.
