The Primary Care Physician role at Oregon State Hospital in Salem offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive ambulatory medical care within a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment dedicated to patient-centered behavioral health treatment. This position is instrumental in ensuring patients receive high-quality general medical services, both through the onsite medical clinic and directly within inpatient units. The physician serves as a key medical resource, collaborating with psychiatrists, unit staff, and other healthcare professionals to address the complex health needs of a diverse patient population. Requirements

  • Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
  • Satisfactory completion of a residency program in Internal or Family Medicine in the United States or Canada
  • Physician's license issued by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners at the time of appointment and maintain the licensure throughout employment
