About The Position
Overview A well-regarded healthcare facility in Salisbury, NC is hiring full-time Primary Care Physicians (MD/DO) to join its outpatient team. Job Description As a Primary Care Physician, you will: Provide comprehensive outpatient care, including preventive services, chronic disease management, and treatment of acute conditions Conduct detailed patient evaluations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans Educate patients and families about health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options Collaborate with advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff to deliver coordinated, high-quality care Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record system Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community wellness programs
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Active or eligible North Carolina medical license
