Primary Care Physician (FM/IM) - Cape Girardeau
About The Position
The Physician provides direct clinical treatment services to patients, ensuring that patients receive the treatment necessary to treat their medical complaint. The Physician works constructively and collaboratively with other health professionals and focuses on attaining high standards of healthcare within their specialty. Duties may include patient care, instructing, monitoring, and advising other health care professionals, as appropriate. Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking a Family Medicine/Internal Medicine physician to join an Outpatient, Primary Care practice in Cape Girardeau, MO. at Saint Francis Clinic-Kingshighway! Practice Details: Join a practice of 4 Primary Care physicians (FP, IM/Peds), 4 Primary Care NPs, 3 LCSWs. Also on-site is an Occupational Medicine physician, an Urgent Care clinic with 6 Urgent Care NPs Clinic has a full-service imaging center and laboratory, and houses virtual Urgent Care clinic EMR: EPIC Clinic call is 1:3, phone call only Work environment/day-to-day work: Work schedule: M-F 8:00am – 4:30pm outpatient clinic Average number of patients per day: 17 - 21
Requirements
- Medical license in the State
- Basic Life Support (BLS). Must also maintain a Controlled Substance license for the State of Missouri and Federal DEA.
- Must have successfully completed, an accredited residency program.
- Must maintain active medical privileges and medical memberships.
- Must be Board Eligible and complete certification within reasonable timeframe once hired, or be Board Certified
