About The Position

The Physician provides direct clinical treatment services to patients, ensuring that patients receive the treatment necessary to treat their medical complaint. The Physician works constructively and collaboratively with other health professionals and focuses on attaining high standards of healthcare within their specialty. Duties may include patient care, instructing, monitoring, and advising other health care professionals, as appropriate. Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking a Family Medicine/Internal Medicine physician to join an Outpatient, Primary Care practice in Cape Girardeau, MO. at Cape Physician Associates! Practice Details: Join a multi-specialty, provider-based clinic, consisting of 2 Internal Medicine and 2 Family Medicine Providers, 4 Family Medicine APPs, 2 Nephrologists & 1 Rheumatologists You’ll walk into an established patient panel on day 1, a practice where you'll find a nice balance of patients with wonderful support staff and administration. Clinic located inside Saint Francis Medical Center with direct access to outpatient Pharmacy, Imaging, Lab EMR: EPIC Shared after hours call; phone call only Work environment/day-to-day work: Work schedule: M-F 8:00am – 4:30pm outpatient clinic Average number of patients per day: 15 - 17

Requirements

• Medical license in the State
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Must also maintain a Controlled Substance license for the State of Missouri and Federal DEA
• Must have successfully completed, an accredited residency program
• Must maintain active medical privileges and medical memberships
• Must be Board Eligible and complete certification within reasonable timeframe once hired, or be Board Certified
