About The Position
We are hiring a Primary Care Physician Director to lead adult primary care services in a mission-driven community health clinic centered on serving Black communities and other historically underserved populations. This role combines direct care with strategic leadership to advance equitable, culturally concordant primary care.
Requirements
- MD or DO; board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Hospital Medicine.
- Unrestricted California medical license.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in urban community health and working with diverse patient populations preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, culturally responsive care, averaging approximately 16 adult patients per day.
- Champion training in implicit bias, cultural humility, trauma-informed care, and continuous quality improvement.
- Partner with clinic leadership on program development, provider performance standards, and patient grievance resolution.
