About The Position

GenPride collaborates widely to strengthen the wellbeing, power, and belonging of LGBTQIA2S+ elders in Seattle/King County. We work to create welcoming spaces, programs, and connections that honor lived experience, promote equity, and celebrate aging with pride. PrideReady is GenPride’s training, organizational development, and consulting effort equipping senior-serving organizations to build cultures, policies, and practices that affirm and support LGBTQIA2S+ older adults. The PrideReady Growth & Partnerships Manager is a strategic, relationship-driven leader responsible for growing and sustaining PrideReady through partnerships, contracts, and fee-for-service revenue. This role blends business development, community partnership, and mission-centered leadership to expand PrideReady’s reach, impact, and long-term sustainability. Working collaboratively across GenPride, the PrideReady Growth & Partnerships Manager ensures PrideReady is recognized as a trusted training and consulting resource across aging services, housing, healthcare, nonprofit, and related sectors. All work is grounded in racial, aging, and LGBTQIA2S+ equity. This is a full-time, exempt, hybrid position. Some early morning, evening, and weekend hours are required. The role supervises one full-time hourly employee and works closely with staff, contractors, consultants, board members, and community partners.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, fundraising, or revenue-generating programs in nonprofit, consulting, or mission-driven settings.
  • Proven success securing contracts, partnerships, and fee-for-service revenue.
  • Authentic connection to GenPride’s mission and the experiences of LGBTQIA2S+ older adults.
  • Deep commitment to racial, aging, and LGBTQIA2S+ equity in daily work.
  • Knowledge of LGBTQIA2S+ communities, aging services, and intersectional equity issues.
  • Proven success in designing, implementing, evaluating, and adapting initiatives to meet goals and metrics.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills, with experience representing organizations externally.
  • Experience supervising coordinator level staff and skilled volunteers.
  • Proficiency with CRM and data systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Skilled writer and public speaker, comfortable representing an organization externally.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Ability to perform work involving sitting, presenting, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to travel throughout the Puget Sound region and work in community settings with frequent interruptions, as well as occasional early morning, evening, or weekend hours.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow PrideReady’s partnerships, trainings, and consulting engagements, including fee-for-service and contract-based revenue.
  • Identify, cultivate, and secure contracts with senior-serving organizations, public entities, healthcare providers, housing organizations, nonprofits, and corporate partners.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective partners with clear cultivation, proposal, contracting, and stewardship strategies.
  • Collaborate with GenPride leadership to develop service models, packaging, and any related pricing that align mission, accessibility, and financial sustainability.
  • Build and maintain long-term partnerships that advance systems-level change for King County LGBTQIA2S+ elders.
  • Develop and refine PrideReady systems for certification, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
  • Position PrideReady as a trusted regional resource for LGBTQIA2S+ cultural humility training and organizational change.
  • Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and consultants to develop proposals, reports, presentations, and marketing materials.
  • Pursue speaking, media, and partnership opportunities that expand PrideReady’s reach and credibility.
  • Ensure PrideReady offerings reflect lived experience, best practices, and evolving community needs.
  • Supervise and support PrideReady staff, facilitators, and contractors, fostering accountability, growth, and alignment with GenPride’s values.
  • Track, evaluate, and report on PrideReady’s financial performance, program outcomes, and partnership impact.
  • Apply racial, aging, and LGBTQIA2S+ equity frameworks across all partnerships, contracts, and internal practices.
  • Partner with GenPride leadership to align PrideReady strategy with organizational goals and sustainability planning.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, organizational learning, and culture-building practices.
