About The Position

YOUR ROLE: Produce rates for the air freight department within the required deadlines and to the satisfaction of clients and the company. Act as a liaison between the clients, agents and sales executives.

Requirements

  • A diploma in professional studies or academic equivalent, and experience in air freight is required.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft office and Excel.
  • Must be able to communicate well and clearly in English both written and oral.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills; must be a team player; must have good organizational and time management skills; must be attentive to detail; must have a sense of urgency; must be customer service-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Verify different transport possibilities with airline and transport companies and negotiate best possible rates for clients.
  • Understand customer needs and bring innovative solutions.
  • Recommend insurance.
  • Produce rates in the operational system according to the needs of the clients and within the time limits.
  • Follow up on rates.
  • Act as the resource person for the ceva Group network, suppliers and customer service department (both internal and external).
  • Work closely with the sales team, and the other departments of CEVA Canada.
  • Issue non-conformity notices and customer complaints in accordance with ISO procedures.
  • Other tasks as defined by the immediate supervisor.
