Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
1 year of logistics or transportation experience

Nice To Haves

3 years of related experience
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Excellent customer service and organizational skills
The aptitude to quickly learn new software
Solid attention to detail and follow-up skills with experience identifying and resolving problems
Adaptability under tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment

Responsibilities

Compile, review and execute appropriate pricing strategy; utilize internal and market tools to develop and submit pricing proposals
Assist with increasing approved carriers and contacts for RXO, upload rates to pricing data base
Act as liaison between operations, sales, and compliance teams
Work with carrier procurement and the customer sales team to understand market trends that will aid in the review of pricing proposals
Quote sales team on new lanes when requested
Maintain a basic understanding of market tools and market trends, including seasonality, industries and factors that impact rates
Recommend and implement improvements
