About The Position

The Pricing Analyst role exists to develop, implement, and optimize pricing strategies that advance Zoro’s position as a supplier of choice while supporting key business objectives. This role is accountable for conducting data analysis, designing and enhancing pricing tools and models, and working cross-functionally with Category Management, Customer Service, Marketing, and other departments to ensure pricing aligns with organizational goals. The expected outcome is a data-driven, efficient, and adaptive pricing approach that enhances profitability, competitiveness, and overall business performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Strong technical proficiency with SQL and advanced spreadsheet skills (Excel, Google Sheets)
  • Foundational experience with data visualization and business process optimization

Nice To Haves

  • 0-2 year of pricing, operations, or data analytics experience
  • Working knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using limited or imperfect data
  • Experience improving or automating business processes in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve models, scripts, and workflows that process and validate supplier pricing data
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of price updates and MAP compliance across all product categories
  • Partner cross-functionally to resolve pricing issues and identify new opportunities
  • Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and automate pricing operations for efficiency and scalability
  • Use strong communication skills to present findings and build support for pricing initiatives
