About The Position

The Pricebook Analyst is responsible for maintaining, updating, and ensuring the accuracy of item data, pricing, vendor invoicing, and promotional activity across a centralized Inventory Management System and Food Service systems. This role is analytical and technical, requiring strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving. The Pricebook Analyst supports store-level Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, Back-Office systems, and works closely with internal buyers, analysts, store teams, and external vendors to ensure item setup and pricing integrity. The Pricebook Analyst reports to the Pricebook Manager and plays a key role in cross-functional initiatives that impact pricing, inventory, store operations, and vendor relations. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information System preferred or equivalent experience
  • Retail and cost inventory experience
  • 3+ years of PDI Enterprise software experience preferred
  • Ability to work some weekends based on the on-call schedule
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • 3 + years of Radiant Configuration Manager software experience preferred
  • Experience with EDI systems, invoice management, and vendor communications

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Pricebook Manager with administrative tasks to move the department forward
  • Expedite the support queue to ensure all tasks are being completed in a timely manner
  • Design and implement processes within each area of Pricebook to improve efficiency
  • Assist the Pricebook Manager with ongoing projects
  • Make decisions for the department when the Pricebook Manager is unavailable
  • Prioritize, and resolve store support tickets related to Pricebook issues; participate in an on-call rotation to resolve issues in non-office hours.
  • Train store personnel on receiving and invoice processes that will benefit the accounting group
  • Collaborate with vendors and buyers to set up new vendors and item records within both ERP and EDI platforms.
  • Collaborate with EDI providers and vendors to make sure all invoice information is importing correctly
  • Import daily EDI invoice data into ERP and troubleshoot errors or anomalies.
  • Review third-party EDI provider portals and correct issues related to invoice transmission or item data.
  • Use sound judgment when matching store deliveries to vendor invoices, using tracking data and vendor communication when needed to validate deliveries.
  • Ensure timely reconciliation of invoices with store ASN data, and investigate cost or quantity mismatches.
  • Ensure vendors are following proper shipping requirements by providing all necessary labels and documentation to facilitate receiving efficiency at store level and reconciliation at home-office.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams (e.g., buyers, analysts) on ERP best practices and system capabilities.
  • Serve as subject matter expert in ERP to add and update item records (inventory and non-inventory), and Execute cost and retail price changes, including mass updates via advanced Excel functionality
  • Maintain software and hardware for multiple devices
  • Maintain graphics for point-of-sale systems
  • Maintain interfaces for multiple devices and software
  • Test and deploy software and hardware pertaining to pricing and inventory
  • Bill vendors or manufacturers for balance owed after promotional events.
  • Maintain and update scan data rules for reporting to manufacturers.
  • Manage and support Foodservice scale management software, ensuring pricing and nutritional data is up to date.
  • Implement software leveraged to assist in daily management of cost and retail pricing
  • Maintain documentation of procedures, workflows, and training materials applicable to the role
  • Adapt marketing procedures and processes
  • Provide support for multiple levels of the organization
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Research and resolve questions in a friendly and professional manner
  • Working knowledge of retail operations and convenience store marketing
  • Work as part of a team consisting of multiple departments
