For more information, visit www.worldbank.org VPU Context The World Bank Group’s (WBG) Ethics and Internal Justice Services Vice Presidency (EIJ) brings together, under a single umbrella, the WBG’s approach to values, ethics and the resolution of workplace conflict. EIJ’s vision is to foster a values-based workplace culture and help staff uphold the WBG’s ethical standards. EIJ provides an integrated, empathetic and efficient approach to resolving workplace conflict, allowing staff to focus with urgency on the WBG’s mission. EIJ’s work covers each of the five WBG institutions https://www.worldbank.org/en/about/unit/ethics-and-internal-justice-services Unit Context: The EIJ VPU is seeking to recruit two analysts to work in its Client Services unit (CS) and who will report to head, Client Services. Client Services comprises: EIJ Navigator – a centralized intake function to assist staff with their concerns by pairing them with the appropriate channel within the EIJ VPU to resolve their concerns efficiently and expediently; and the Respectful Workplace Advisors (RWAs) program – which supports peer-elected WBG ethics champions, who serve as a confidential sounding board for staff. The selected candidates are required to be detail-oriented with solid, hands-on experience in data analytics and management within a multilateral development organization. The selected candidates are also required to deliver high quality work products that are timely, with the highest level of professionalism and cultural sensitivity, in a confidential environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, statistics, data science, or a closely related field.
  • At least three (3) years of relevant professional experience.
  • Familiarity with the ethics and internal justice system of a multilateral development bank.
  • Proven experience preparing comprehensive data reports and leading projects focused spanning data strategy, architecture, management, analysis, visualization/presentation, and user support.
  • Demonstrated discretion, sound judgment, and tact in handling confidential and sensitive data and matters.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with the data needs of the RWA program and the EIJ Navigator program is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with CS business processes. This includes designing data models, establishing database development standards, and implementing data warehouses, analytics systems, data analysis, and reporting solutions.
  • Define the enterprise data management framework for CS, detailing how data is planned, created, maintained, secured, and governed. This encompasses areas such as security, reference data, metadata, and master data management.
  • Perform data entry and analysis; design and develop the CS dashboard and Power BI reports to support organizational goals and decision-making.
  • Provide support for CS outreach and training activities, utilizing CS data to identify trends and creating useful data reports.
  • Collaborate with the EIJ colleagues to analyze EIJ data and produce reports for EIJ VPU Leadership and other stakeholders, and undertake ad hoc assignments in support of the CS program as needed.
