Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in press brake tooling and forming
- Strong experience with: Press brake tooling design and application Setup and forming processes Safety factors and best practices
- Proven ability to work from and interpret engineered drawings
- Experience with quoting and customer technical support
- Solid understanding of: Tolerances Legends Materials and material properties
- Dimensional analysis software
- STP files
- SLDW files (SolidWorks)
- DXF files
- Adobe Reader
Responsibilities
- Serve as a press brake and tooling design expert, supporting both internal manufacturing teams and external customers
- Design, specify, and support press brake tooling setups for a wide variety of forming applications
- Ensure accurate setup, proper safety factors, and optimal tooling performance
- Collaborate closely with customers and manufacturing teams to deliver practical, high-quality solutions
- Provide quoting support, including tooling and forming solutions
- Read, interpret, and apply engineered drawings, ensuring adherence to: Tolerances Legends Materials and material behavior
- Apply strong knowledge of dimensional analysis to validate designs and forming strategies
- Support continuous improvement and troubleshooting efforts on the shop floor
