Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience overseeing multi-department operations within a manufacturing or product-based organization.
  • 5+ years of full P&L ownership at a $20M+ revenue scale, including budgeting, forecasting, margin management, and cash flow oversight.
  • Proven success implementing KPI-driven accountability systems and leading disciplined execution across departments.
  • Experience partnering directly with a founder or visionary CEO, translating strategy into structured operational execution.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience scaling or professionalizing a $50M–$75M manufacturing organization.
  • Oversight of HR functions including performance management, compensation planning, and leadership development.
  • Led ERP implementation, systems modernization, or operational infrastructure upgrades.
  • Experience managing distributor-based, dealer-based, or contractor-driven sales channels.
  • Track record in engineered products or mechanical manufacturing (HVAC, refrigeration, or similar).
  • Familiarity with EOS®, Lencioni’s The Advantage, or other structured leadership frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Finance, Engineering, or related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus).
  • Bilingual communication skills considered a plus (Spanish/English)
  • Exposure small to mid-sized, founder-led or entrepreneurial organizations, with a track record of sustained tenure and long-term leadership impact.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily operations across production, supply chain, logistics, sales, customer support, finance, HR, and administration.
  • Build, document, and continuously improve standardized operating procedures across all departments.
  • Implement KPI scorecards and enforce measurable accountability.
  • Own company-level budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.
  • Drive margin improvement, cash flow optimization, and disciplined inventory management.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and ROI-based operational decision making aligned with long-term growth objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and hold accountable department heads and emerging leaders.
  • Establish structured performance management, role clarity, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Oversee hiring, organizational design, and guide difficult personnel decisions with fairness and firmness.
  • Ensure disciplined execution of sales strategies across distributor and dealer channels.
  • Oversee fulfillment, warehousing, warranty, and technical support operations.
  • Strengthen cross-functional alignment from order to delivery to service to elevate customer experience.
  • Lead ERP modernization and systems integration initiatives.
  • Build operational infrastructure that supports scalable revenue growth.
  • Ensure production readiness and cross-functional execution for new product launches.
  • Serve as a unified operational partner to the founder and Visionary.
  • Translate Visionary strategy into actionable quarterly priorities and execution plans.
  • Provide clear, data-driven reporting while anticipating and addressing risks before they impact growth or culture.
