Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years old.
• Meets all state preschool cook requirements.
• 1 year of experience in food planning, preparation, and service, following USDA guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• Current Food Handler’s Card or ServSafe certification.

Responsibilities

• Create nutritious, kid-approved meals and snacks.
• Keep the kitchen organized, managing food and supply storage.
• Serve and distribute meals to classrooms.
• Handle dishes and maintain a spotless, efficient kitchen system.
• Pitch in with extra tasks like laundry, cleaning equipment, and sanitizing toys.
• Whip up minor meal prep with care.
• Bring energy and enthusiasm to a role that involves some lifting.
