About The Position
Join our fast-paced, high-volume waterfront restaurant on Lake Norman for the 2026 season (March–October). We’re hiring part-time and full-time Prep Cooks to support our kitchen team and help deliver fresh, high-quality dishes throughout the season. If you’re dependable, motivated, and thrive in a busy kitchen environment, we’d love to have you on our Hello Sailor team this season! Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
- Basic knife skills and kitchen knowledge preferred
- Ability to follow recipes and directions accurately
- Weekend and holiday availability required
Nice To Haves
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients according to recipes and chef specifications
- Wash, chop, portion, and store food items properly
- Maintain clean and organized prep stations
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Support overall kitchen efficiency in a fast-paced environment
