About The Position

Ten Five Hospitality is launching a new restaurant and lounge concept in Georgetown, aiming to create an elevated dining experience. They are seeking dynamic, experienced professionals to join their team. Prep Cooks are considered the foundation of the kitchen, responsible for preparing and stocking ingredients to ensure a smooth and efficient service. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow while contributing to a culture of quality and consistency.

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Must be a team player and have a positive attitude.
  • Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.

  • Experience preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

  • All aspects of food preparation and presentation.
  • Weigh and measure ingredients accurately.
  • Assists in control of inventory and supplies.
  • Monitor and check daily food logs.
  • Handle and store food products correctly (FIFO).
  • Complete tasks assigned in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communicate all kitchen related needs to Chef or Manager.
  • Assist other stations when necessary.
  • Complete all cleaning tasks as assigned.
  • All other duties as assigned.
