Description Of Job Duties · Assist incoming first-year students in their transition to college life by providing mentorship, programming, and opportunities to engage with other Premier Scholars. · Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in leading workshops, activities, and events, during the summer component of the program and throughout the academic year. Serve as a role model and mentor to Premier Team Leaders and students in the Premier Scholars Program · Demonstrate strong leadership to the North Central College community. · Attend all required spring 2026 paraprofessional training sessions. Details of sessions will be provided by supervisor. · Meet on an agreed upon schedule with supervisor throughout summer 2026 to assist in the planning and execution of the Premier Scholars Program. · Assist with the summer 2026 Premier Team staff training. Assist in the oversight and support the Premier Team staff to help build a strong team dynamic. Job Qualifications · Maintain cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.0 or above. · Maintain a good student standing in terms of on and off-campus conduct. · Confirmed plans for continued enrollment as a full-time student at North Central College for the 2026-2027 academic year. · Show and articulate an appreciation of and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. · Demonstrate excellent social and communication skills. · Ability to work in, contribute to, and lead a team-oriented environment. · Genuine concern for incoming students’ transition to the North Central College community and sense of belonging. Must have previously served as a Premier Team Leader
