About The Position
This full-time position is located in Westford, MA. The role involves performing in-process and final inspections on precision-machined parts to tight tolerances, interpreting blueprints, and documenting nonconformances to ensure compliance with quality standards. This is a Direct Hire position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
Requirements
- 2–5+ years of quality inspection experience in precision machining
- Experience working with tight tolerances (down to .0005" or tighter) required
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Previous experience with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc)

- GD&T preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform in-process and final inspections on precision-machined components to tolerances as tight as ±0.0002"
- Interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and GD&T to verify dimensional accuracy
- Use advanced measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure compliance
- Identify and document nonconformances, initiate NCRs, and support root cause investigations
- Partner with production and engineering teams to maintain high quality standards and continuous improvement
- Support quality documentation and inspection records for customer and aerospace requirements
