About The Position

Precision Manufacturing Technician (Assembly, Press & Paint) Picture your shift kicking off with a clear set of build instructions in hand. You move from an assembly station to a press, then over to the paint line—checking part numbers, sizes, and finishes as you go. You count and label small components with accuracy, spot a potential defect before it becomes a problem, and keep production flowing safely and efficiently. That’s a typical day for our Precision Manufacturing Technicians at Worthington Enterprises. What You’ll Do Operate across multiple stations: assembly, testing, material handling, welding, press room, and paint line. Follow detailed production instructions to build quality parts safely and consistently. Identify defects and quality issues; take corrective action and escalate when needed. Accurately count, label, and handle small parts and components. Champion a safe workplace by adhering to all policies and procedures.

Requirements

Comfort with physical, repetitive work and standing for long periods.
Sharp hand–eye coordination and excellent attention to detail.
Basic math and computer proficiency.
Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and job travelers.
Familiarity with part numbers, sizing, and quality inspection methods.

Nice To Haves

Current forklift and/or crane licenses.
