A day in the life – Milwaukee, WI You arrive at our Milwaukee facility, open the day’s prints, and plan your sequence of welds. You set up your TIG station, select the right filler and settings for the material at hand, and lay down clean, consistent beads that hold up to inspection. When quirks pop up—porosity, fit-up concerns, heat distortion—you diagnose quickly, adjust, and keep production moving. Along the way, you swap ideas with teammates to refine techniques and make the process safer and more efficient. Before clocking out, you tidy your bay and service your equipment so tomorrow’s work is as precise as today’s. What you’ll do Execute high-quality TIG welds across multiple material types to meet exacting specs. Study blueprints and technical drawings to understand dimensions, joints, and sequence. Identify welding issues and apply corrective actions to maintain steady throughput. Partner with peers to streamline workflows and boost overall efficiency. Uphold safety practices and maintain a clean, orderly work area. Perform routine checks and maintenance on welding tools and equipment. What you bring Hands-on TIG welding experience; MIG exposure is beneficial. Strong troubleshooting mindset with proven problem-solving on the floor. Fluent blueprint and drawing interpretation. Meticulous attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship. Clear communication and a collaborative approach. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant welding certifications are a plus.
