What You’ll Do as a Precast Project Engineer Lead and execute precast engineering and design tasks efficiently.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, Master’s preferred
  • 10 plus years of experience in precast concrete design engineering for transportation infrastructure and underground structures (utility vaults, manholes, drainage structures and pump stations).
  • Familiarity with ACI 318, ACI 350, ASCE-7, AASHTO
  • Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred or ability to obtain it
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD & RISA 3D

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver structurally sound, cost-effective, and visually appealing precast concrete designs.
  • Perform and review structural analysis and calculations to ensure safety under various loads and conditions.
  • Select materials and components for precast concrete production that meet strength, durability, and sustainability standards.
  • Create accurate drawings, plans, and specifications for precast projects aligned with industry design standards.
  • Support cost estimation for materials
  • Support Project Managers and Designers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of codes, technologies, and advancements in the precast-prestressed field.
  • Promote, utilize and support QA/QC processes to guarantee quality deliverables.
  • Mentor junior staff and support their technical development.
