A day in this role Sun-up on the precast yard: you walk the beds, shop cards in hand from a quick review with the Manager. Before the first trowel hits the surface, you’ve already verified the dry finish requirements for each bed form and matched them to the day’s products. You assign the right mix of Concrete Finishers (Class B) to each piece, brief the team on the precise finish needed, and call out any special directions for texture or appearance. As the crew executes, you stay hands-on—sawing off strand ends, sacking blemishes on members, and rocking panel edges when needed. If production deadlines tighten, you jump in to perform dry finishing to keep the schedule on track. Each piece that meets spec is green-tagged before it heads to storage. If something needs a second pass, you coordinate and apply rework without hesitation. Throughout, you uphold safety and quality procedures to protect people and ensure consistent, high-caliber products.
