About The Position

As a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer on our team, you will be a technical advisor and advocate for our agentic AI solutions whilst partnering with our Sales team on enabling conversions and deals to drive revenue successful. You will build expertise in our solutions and apply your knowledge to solve complex customer challenges within the Insurance industry with a focus on claims and underwriting. Requirements

  • 4+ years in solution selling AI-powered solutions to upper mid-market and/or enterprise customers within the Insurance sector.
  • Strong knowledge/experience in the following areas: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotic Process Automation, and/or Intelligent Document Processing.
  • Technical background/awareness and hands-on technical experience with the ability to combine that with a commercial mindset to win deals.
  • An understanding of the challenges related to security, compliance, and governance for insurance companies.
  • The ability to take complex pieces of technology and explain it in a simple and easy way for prospects and customers.
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills to create powerful stories and content to inspire prospects.
  • A very collaborative disposition, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders in contexts varying from pre-sales to post-sales, customer support, and more.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in basic software development and utilizing scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience with internals of Linux, Windows and MacOS a plus.
  • Experience with DNS, HTTPS, TLS, TCP/IP is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Win the trust of customers by demonstrating technical and business acumen in the insurance space and empathizing with their business challenges.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for our customers.
  • Develop and deliver engaging demonstrations in collaboration with our sales team to both business and technical users.
  • Work with customer stakeholders to map current processes and architect an optimized process using Artificial Intelligence automation.
  • Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
  • Lead, contribute to, and employ best practices in executing demos, POCs and pilots.
  • Help customers customize or extend Roots Automation solution during POC or pilot phases.
  • Present to prospects, customers, and partners at trade shows, conferences, and webinars.
  • Participate in value-added activities including community involvement (meetups), case studies and reference calls.
  • Work with customers and sales team stakeholders to design and align solutions to customer use cases, integration challenges, data reporting, and more.
  • Ability to discuss, with credibility, competitive offers in the marketplace and effectively differentiate against them.
  • Participate in pipeline development, forecasts, and quarterly business reviews.
