About The Position

The Pre-Owned Service Branch Manager is responsible for leading a high-performance branch that delivers fast, reliable service and drives aggressive business growth. This role demands a leader who can move quickly, solve problems decisively, and consistently exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly organized, and motivated by the urgency of meeting customers’ expectations and the business expanding.

Requirements

  • Five years of experience required.
  • Proven leadership experience in service operations, branch management, or a related field.
  • Strong mechanical or technical understanding (golf carts, small engines, automotive, or similar equipment).
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Proven success driving operational transformation using lean tools.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Customer-first mindset with a sense of urgency.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
  • Experience in the golf cart, powersports, automotive, or equipment rental industries.
  • Familiarity with service management software and inventory systems.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to tow trailers is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and motivate service technicians, parts staff, transportation, and yard teams to meet tight deadlines and high service standards.
  • Set clear expectations, monitor performance daily, and take immediate action to address gaps.
  • Build a culture of urgency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure every customer receives prompt communication, accurate timelines, and dependable service.
  • Respond quickly to escalations, service delays, or operational issues.
  • Strengthen relationships with dealers, distributors, and individual customers by delivering consistent, high-quality results.
  • Oversee diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and fleet readiness with a focus on speed and accuracy.
  • Prioritize work orders to minimize downtime and maximize throughout.
  • Coordinate efficient pickup and delivery schedules to meet customer commitments.
  • Drive branch revenue by promoting service packages, rentals, parts, accessories, and new/used golf carts.
  • Identify emerging opportunities in the market and act quickly to capture them.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to execute growth strategies and hit aggressive sales targets.
  • Maintain optimal parts inventory to prevent service delays.
  • Monitor usage trends and adjust ordering to support fast turnaround times.
  • Manage internal supply relationships to ensure timely supply and cost efficiency.
  • Own branch profitability, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Track KPIs daily and implement corrective actions without delay.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, warranty requirements, and company policies.
