About The Position

Objective: To fulfill Hunt Mortgage Corporation’s Service Strategy Statement. “We treat our most valuable assets, our customers and employees with courtesy and respect. We will always be aware that we are assisting our customers with one of their most valuable and cherished assets, their home. We will be accurate in our estimates, timely with our responses and loan closings.” Functions: Review loan files for completeness, accuracy, and disclosures. Obtain current tax receipts, review and update aggregate escrow calculation for all tax escrowed. Obtain current hazard insurance/flood insurance, review and update for closing terms. Complete necessary verification of employment for every borrower within specific timeframe of closing date. Do preliminary Closing Disclosure in Approval/Resubmittal status Review/obtain all invoices for credit/appraisal/VOE to ensure proper fee was disclosed and being collected Provide proper disclosures for extended files, as needed Work in conjunction with closer on closing files to achieve contract closing date including preparation of final Closing Disclosure and documents, as needed The functions of this position are subject to change and may be altered accordingly based on the needs of the organization and/or the Company President.

Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Two or more years experience in a bank or mortgage company
  • Proficiency with Excel
  • Strong eye for detail – commitment to excellence
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills – empathetic, caring, sensitive
  • Ability to work well under pressure
