We're currently recruiting a Practice Support Assistant (Practice Analyst) - Litigation to support one of the firm's marquee global clients, a Fortune 500 company with a complex matter portfolio. This is an entry-level, hands-on role at the intersection of client service, legal operations, and business process improvement. You'll work closely with lawyers and business professionals across multiple time zones, developing strong operational instincts and a bias for action. Responsibilities

  • Support Active Litigation & Case Management: Serve as a key operations contact for one of Orrick's largest global clients. Manage day-to-day case activity through one of the firm's platform, ensuring that every matter is tracked, organized, and executed with precision.
  • Maintain and Analyze Case Data: Input, monitor, and audit data across multiple systems, ensuring accuracy in case details, deadlines, and deliverables. Use reporting tools like Excel and Power BI to track matter progress and generate insights for client teams.
  • Facilitate Client Communication & Deliverables: Coordinate with attorneys and project managers to ensure timely delivery of updates, reports, and filings. Anticipate information needs and keep stakeholders informed proactively.
  • Drive Operational Efficiency: Identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend improvements to enhance speed, consistency, and data integrity.
  • Coordinate Cross-Functional Work: Partner with Team Support, Finance, and knowledge management teams to ensure seamless end-to-end execution of client work.
  • Deliver Excellence Under Pressure: Manage multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy and composure in a high-volume, fast-moving client environment.
