About The Position

Position Summary: Responsible for supervision and coordination of a broad spectrum of day-to-day clinic operations, provides supervision of assigned practice(s) in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations. Practices effective cost control measures through economic utilization of staff, materials, and equipment. Oversees supply inventory, ordering, and maintaining PAR levels that demonstrate fiscal responsibility. Demonstrates Service Excellence and always conveys professionalism and strong motivation to achieve optimum results. All other duties as assigned. Independence Physician Management (IPM), a subsidiary of UHS, was formed in 2012 as the physician services unit of UHS. IPM develops and manages multi-specialty physician networks and urgent care clinics that align with UHS acute care facilities. It also provides select services for the Behavioral Health division of UHS. Through continuing growth, IPM operates in 12 markets across six states and the District of Columbia. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree with two (2) years of supervisory experience required.
  • In lieu of a degree, 3-5 years of healthcare experience with at least two (2) years in a supervisor capacity.
  • Minimum two (2) years of healthcare supervisory experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, EMR systems, medical and billing terminology, healthcare/hospital office settings, service excellence, and revenue cycle operations.
  • Knowledge of healthcare or hospital office settings.
  • Service excellence, recruiting, training, leading, and performance management of staff.
  • Multitasking, decision making, process improvement, project management, interpersonal communication, leadership, computer proficiency, excellent customer service, and business savvy.
  • Operate within the concept of patient-focused care.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
