About the Role As a Practice Manager at Optima Dermatology, you will oversee daily clinic operations while supporting a high-quality patient experience and a positive team culture. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational performance, supporting clinical teams, and ensuring compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, people leadership experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional dermatologic care.
Requirements
- 5+ years of management or healthcare leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of medical practice operations and clinical workflows
- Experience supervising, coaching, and developing staff
- Knowledge of medical terminology, billing basics, and operational reporting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team environment
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, scheduling systems, and office software

- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day clinic operations and maintain efficient patient flow
- Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and compliance standards
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and supervision of clinic staff
- Develop staff schedules and assist with timecard review and approvals
- Monitor patient satisfaction and resolve service or workflow concerns
- Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate regular team meetings
- Track inventory and coordinate ordering of medical and office supplies
- Prepare operational dashboards and participate in performance review calls
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations, OSHA, and patient privacy initiatives
- Coordinate facility maintenance, equipment needs, and vendor services
- Support community outreach and marketing initiatives when needed
- Assist with front-end or clinical workflows during high-volume periods
