About The Position

The Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day clinic operations and the overall patient experience. This role coordinates and supervises all site functions while partnering with senior leadership to achieve clinical, operational, and financial goals. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, organizational expertise, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of management experience, healthcare setting preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise, train, and evaluate staff
  • Familiarity with medical billing systems, basic coding, and medical terminology
  • Experience in medical practice management, HR processes, and operational data analysis
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build positive relationships across teams
  • Ability to work independently and drive initiatives without direct supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, reporting systems, and office software

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • EMA and/or EClinicalWorks experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Implement and enforce clinic policies and procedures
  • Identify and resolve patient satisfaction and patient flow/throughput issues
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees
  • Select, supervise, and monitor staff performance and productivity
  • Develop monthly staff schedules and assist with timecard approvals
  • Ensure accurate tracking and depositing of cash receipts
  • Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate site meetings
  • Monitor inventory and oversee ordering of office and medical supplies
  • Review patient feedback and implement initiatives to improve satisfaction
  • Attend community marketing events in partnership with the marketing team
  • Ensure compliance with company directives, patient privacy initiatives, and safety standards
  • Audit records to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare weekly and monthly operational dashboards and participate in review calls with leadership
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State employment regulations, OSHA, HHS, and labor laws
  • Facilitate facility audits and inspections as required
  • Lead special projects and operational studies assigned by senior management
  • Promote teamwork and foster a positive, productive clinic environment
  • Ensure clinic operations remain fully staffed, safe, clean, and operational during all scheduled hours
  • Coordinate facility maintenance, equipment servicing, and vendor relationships
  • Provide front-end registration and/or clinical support during high-demand periods
