About The Position

Powertrain Solutions is a provider of diversified powertrain products and solutions in our three market segments Electric Vehicles (EL), Passenger Cars (PC), and Commercial Vehicles / Off-Road (CV/OR) – from gasoline and diesel injection to electric drives with battery and fuel cell technologies. As a Ford Customer Team Intern, the overall purpose of this role is to gain experience and training while assisting with departmental tasks in Sales, Innovation Management, and Project Management.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering from a 4 year university
• Minimum GPA 3.5
• Sophomore or higher class standing
• Self-starting, results oriented, flexible, team player
• Structured working approach to high quality standards
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Good attention to detail, decision making, and problem solving
• Able to present self well when communicating
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• English language proficiency

Responsibilities

• Execution of sales-related activities to maintain and expand business opportunities in the areas of fuel injection systems, thermal management, and sensors.
• Support with Sales planning and coordination of tasks to ensure on-going customer satisfaction
• Support the Innovation Managers in executing pre-development / co-development projects
