About The Position

The role of the Power Rental Coordinator is to provide operational and sales support for the Power Rental department. The role of the Rental Coordinator is to develop an understanding of the support needs of the customer for the Rental department and initiate plans to address those needs. The position also calls for extreme flexibility to task as the rental business from day to day can be very fluid and fast paced. To be effective, the Rental Coordinator must establish an understanding of the objectives and accountabilities below. Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Moderate computer skills, including experience using programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
  • Good organization skills with excellent communication abilities (verbally & written) are required.
  • Must be able to plan well to meet challenging customer deadlines.
  • Work closely with all personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Analytical skills such as problem-solving and the ability to interpret policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • The ability to work overtime and be on-call as needed, including weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Process and supporting orders for rental and sales in our Cedar Rapids, IA branch.
  • Assist with quoting and creating rental reservations via iRental.
  • Obtain, file, and manage all service reports, signed quotes from Docusign, PO’s, fuel and freight invoices.
  • Create and manage “current” job folders.
  • Arranging and managing all freight responsibilities on jobs assigned.
  • Creating rental agreements and managing job files from reservations thru job closings via iRental
  • Create and invoice customers in a timely manner.
  • Answering in-coming customer phone calls quickly and efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
  • Work closely with Rental Admin., Supervisor, and Shop Supervisor to ensure customer and job fulfillment & monitor job profitability.
  • Comply with company and department safety program.
  • Complete all training as assigned.
