Weekend Full-Time Powder Coating Tech
About The Position
As a Powder Coating Tech, you'll play a key role in our Post Production team, ensuring that all parts are coated properly in accordance with customer specifications and company quality standards. You'll help guarantee timely delivery while maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Why SendCutSend? Requirements
- Previous experience in powder coating, painting, or industrial finishing preferred
- Ability to complete implied tasks to perform necessary job functions
- Basic knowledge of materials and equipment used in the powder coating process
- Basic computer skills
- Able to repeatedly lift 25 lbs and up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand/walk for 10-12 hours per shift
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe work environment
Responsibilities
- Pretreat, clean, and powder coat various customer parts
- Perform required in-process and final quality checks as well as conducting part counts for each order
- Perform pre and post quality checks on all parts, and ensure parts meet work order specifications
- Batch orders appropriately to ensure production demands and timelines are met
- Assist with basic machine maintenance including but not limited to spray systems, blasting equipment, and other misc finishing equipment
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean work environment within the principles of LEAN manufacturing and 5S.
- Communicate daily with your supervisor regarding any issues or concerns
- Complete any additional tasks set forth by the Post Production Manager
