About The Position
Rustica Hardware is seeking to add an experienced and highly-motivated power coating specialist. This position will be responsible for powder coating metal products to good standard; identify, pick and return powder boxes correctly and according to work schedule; and provide cleaning and maintenance to powder coating spray booth and conveyor line according to specifications.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year related work experience
- Knowledge of warehouse and metal shop work environment
- Knowledge of equipment safety standards
- Possess organizational, problem solving and time management skills
- Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
Responsibilities
- Operate electrostatic powder coating spray booth according to specification
- Identify, pick and return powder boxes correctly according to work schedule
- Demonstrate good ability to spray powder to correct thickness range
- Possess versatility to spray to a good standard range of surfaces, awkward profiles and overcoat rejected powder coated parts
- Clean down electrostatic spray guns and booths correctly
- Provide maintenance of the spray gun parts and booths according to instruction
- Prepare powder coating line prior to beginning the powder coating process
- Maintain safe and clean work station while adhering to all safety policies and guidelines
