Postdoctoral Research Associate - Chemical Biology & Therapeutics
About The Position
A postdoc position is available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Daniel Blair. The lab focuses on leveraging high-throughput chemical synthesis and MS/MS analysis to create predictive models of chemical reactivity, specifically for substrate-aware reaction condition prediction. This project aims to capitalize on recent developments in rapid tandem mass-spectrometry methods to scout chemical reaction outcomes, connecting chemical structures to optimal reaction conditions through data-rich experimentation. The project will be executed in the Department of Chemical Biology and Therapeutics at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, utilizing its world-class infrastructure in high-throughput chemical synthesis and analysis.
Requirements
- PhD in Organic Chemistry
- Background in synthetic organic chemistry
Nice To Haves
- Experience with either automated synthesis or high-throughput experimentation is desirable
